The Marking of OCA
In Future Forums, the Ontario Comprehension Assessment (OCA) is marked together by a group of teachers, vice principals and central staff. We divide into five groups and each group marks one question. Before marking the test, each group spends about 30 minutes rereading the text, discussing the question and rubric, and marking some test papers so that we come to an agreement about what levels 1 to 4 look like.
